REGGIO EMILIA Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri

“The Journey of the Constitution” concluded in Reggio Emilia on December 12, 2018. The project was sponsored by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. With this tour, we took the Constitutional Charter and the exhibition dedicated to its 70th anniversary to twelve Italian cities.

The opening ceremony was held at the Bank of Italy Building in Reggio Emilia, with Mayor Luca Vecchi in attendance. Closing was given to thelast of the twelve basic principles, associated with Reggio Emilia.

“The flag of the Republic is the Italian tricolor: green, white and red, with three vertical bands of equal size.”

The exhibition was held at the Bank of Italy Building from Dec. 12 to Jan. 7.

Visitors came into contact with graphic insights. From historical footage to famous phrases of key figures and audio commentaries to 12 key articles entrusted to the words of Roberto Benigni.

“The Journey of the Constitution” brought the Constitutional Charter physically and ideally even closer to all Italians in the twelve cities involved:
Milan
, Catania, Reggio Calabria, Bari, Cagliari, Aosta, Rome, Venice, Florence,
Trieste
and Assisi.

Each stage was associated with one of the twelve basic principles and a theme.

Reggio Emilia, symbol ofArticle Twelve and the “Flag,” closes the circle by bringing this journey to fruition.

Dialogues on the Constitution

The Reggio Emilia stop also hosted thelast appointment with the “Dialogues on the Constitution,” a cycle of 12 lectures developed by the Presidency of the Council, in collaboration with Laterza.
