THE SPACE CINEMA ANNOUNCES THE ARRIVAL OF THE EPIC AUDITORIUM AT ITS ROME PARCO DE’ MEDICI MULTIPLEX
Starting on Friday, August 7, moviegoers at The Space Cinema Roma Parco De’ Medici will be able to enjoy an unparalleled cinematic experience thanks to the new EPIC Premium Large Format.
Christopher Nolan’s Odissea and Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be among the first major titles available in the new EPIC auditorium.

Starting August 7, The Space Cinema Roma Parco De’ Medici will introduce its new EPIC auditorium, a Premium Large Format (PLF) experience designed to redefine the standards of theatrical moviegoing.
Advance ticket sales for the first screenings are now open, with tickets available through the official The Space Cinema website and app.
The arrival of the EPIC auditorium marks another milestone in the ongoing development of the Roma Parco De’ Medici multiplex, which was recently awarded the Biglietto d’Oro as the cinema with the highest attendance in Italy. This recognition confirms the venue’s leading role within the Italian cinema landscape, now enhanced by a new premium viewing experience designed to deliver the highest standards of audio and visual quality.
EPIC combines the most advanced technologies currently available, featuring the new Laser HDR by Barco projection system—with its patented Lightsteering technology—together with immersive Dolby Atmos sound, delivering a cinematic experience unlike any other in Europe.
The HDR by Barco system combines 4K laser projection with exclusive light control technology capable of selectively directing brightness across the screen.
The result is exceptionally sharp images, deeper blacks, brighter whites and an even wider colour spectrum, with brightness peaks up to six times higher than those of a conventional digital cinema screen.
The EPIC auditorium also features Dolby Atmos with 50 audio channels, including overhead speakers.
With up to ten times more audio channels than a standard cinema, the system delivers an incredibly precise and immersive three-dimensional sound experience that completely surrounds the audience. The auditorium is also equipped with new VIP-class seats, designed to provide superior comfort, extra personal space and a more relaxing viewing experience.

Moviegoers at the new EPIC auditorium in Roma Parco De’ Medici will be able to experience Odissea, directed by Christopher Nolan, which has already attracted 4.5 million admissions in Italy and features an all-star cast including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson and Charlize Theron.
One of the most ambitious productions of the season, Odissea finds in EPIC the ideal format to showcase every visual and audio detail. Audiences will also be able to enjoy the brand-new Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, which is already breaking previous box-office records.
